Round 16 Salt Lake City Supercross | Photo Report

by Dawn McClintock Photos by Brown Dog Wilson Here we are down to the nitty-gritty for supercross with only one round remaining. Salt Lake City marked round 16 on the circuit and gave way to a picture perfect day to have an open stadium set up. The track however came with it's own challenges. The wind brought it's own share of difficulties drying out the hard packed dirt. I don't know when I've seen such dust flying at a supercross round as I did this past weekend. This weekend also saw the return of likeable Canadian kid, Jess Pettis. He had been on a bit of a hiatus with injury, surgery and then gave some arenacross rounds a go north of the border. Pettis seemed back to form and mixed things up in the 250 class even cashing in on a LCQ win. Here's a look at some of the action from SLC.
After a nasty crash in Foxborough Kyle Cunningham was back in action for SLC much to everyone's surprise.
